歯肉退縮（歯茎下がり）

20代男性、他院での矯正・インプラント治療による歯茎下がりを心配し来院されました。
当院で結合組織移植【CTG】処置2回、骨の再生治療1回、前歯2本の被せ物治療を行いました。

歯茎が下がった状態（歯肉退縮）というのは、本来は外部に露出しない弱い部分が、歯茎が下がることで露呈してしまいっている状態です。
下がった歯茎（歯肉退縮）を放っておくと、見た目の問題以外にも、歯の根の部分（エナメル質と異なり弱い部分）が虫歯になりやすくなったり、削れたり割れたりというリスクが高まります。
